Erin's birthday began a little early, with a trip to "Rock & Roll
Tattoo and Piercing. She had been waiting until she was 12 to
have her ears repierced (she'd had a bad experience the first
time), and was very excited. And very brave. The hypodermic
needles came out and she was a bit nervous, but later described
it as "a mosquito bite."

Later, she had a slumber party with some of her best buds....
